Hi, I'm
Prem Anjwani.
User Interface & User Experience Designer
I work at the intersection of product thinking, interface design, and human behaviour — helping SaaS teams build products that users understand from the moment they open them.
What I design
Not a generalist
These are the design capabilities I bring to any project — regardless of product type, industry, or stage.
Interface and product design
I design digital interfaces across web and mobile — from complex dashboards and SaaS platforms to consumer apps, internal tools, and anything in between. The work always starts the same way: understanding what users need in the first ten seconds, what is competing for their attention, and where the clarity breaks down.
First-session and activation design
First-session UX is the highest-leverage design work in any product. I design onboarding flows built around one goal: getting a new user to a first meaningful action before they have a reason to leave — whether that product is a SaaS tool, a mobile app, or an enterprise platform.
Multi-user and role-based design
Products that serve multiple user types — admins, end users, analysts, patients, staff, external stakeholders — require a different kind of design thinking. I have designed platforms with up to four distinct user roles, each with their own flow, within a single coherent product system.
Design systems and Figma handoff
Scalable component libraries built in Figma with named tokens, consistent spacing, documented states, and clear annotations so developers can build directly from the file without interpreting anything.
Who I work with
The right fit
The projects I do best in share a few things in common: the product already exists and works technically, but users are struggling with it. There is a real activation or retention problem to solve, not a greenfield product to imagine. There is developer capacity to build from a Figma file. The founder or PM wants to understand the design reasoning, not just receive screens.
- SaaS founders redesigning a product that has outgrown its original interface
- Product managers whose teams are building faster than the design system can keep up
- Heads of product dealing with high churn or low feature adoption after launch
- Non-technical founders who need a reliable design partner for a production-ready product UI
I work with clients across the US and EU. All engagements are remote and async-first.
Writing
What I publish
I write about product UX — practical analysis of the design decisions that affect retention, activation, and user comprehension. Written from active design work, not theory. All articles on the Thinking page.
How an engagement works
The process
Discovery
A 30-minute call or async brief to understand the product, the users, and the specific problem to solve.
Audit and research
Review of the existing product, user flows, competitor interfaces, and the specific failure patterns. Deliverable: a written audit with prioritised recommendations.
Wireframes
Low-fidelity layouts to validate flow and structure before visual design begins. Changes are cheap here.
High-fidelity UI and handoff
Production-ready Figma screens with a component library, spacing annotations, and developer notes.
Two to four weeks for a focused module such as a dashboard or onboarding redesign. Four to six weeks for a full platform redesign. I communicate in writing and respond within one business day.
